I’ve recently started using LinemanJS instead of Yeoman for my front-end projects. Yesterday I had a problem where I needed to change the options of my .jshintrc file so that I would stop getting warnings for my code. Obviously adding a .jshintrc file to the base directory of my project was the first step and that eliminated any of the warnings that I was getting in my editor, but the warnings were still showing up in my lineman grunt jshint task (and lineman run). While troubleshooting this, I found this file https://github.com/linemanjs/lineman/blob/master/config/application.coffee which includes the default grunt task options for lineman. Turns out that lineman makes it really easy to change these settings. Just open your {lineman-project}/config/application.js file and add any options that you need. I’m not using coffeescript so in plain js, it looked like adding this to my application.js config file.
